Dr Binesh Balachandran

Binesh, a role model of discipline and dedication, has made remarkable contributions to the field of Neonatology. He established a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at his institution and pioneered specialty and super-specialty training programs in Neonatology and Pediatrics. A winner of multiple gold medals at both the national and state levels in Neonatology, Binesh combines clinical excellence with a passion for teaching and research, with expertise in neonatal ultrasound and statistics.

Beyond the hospital walls, he is a fitness enthusiast, an amateur arm wrestler, and an avid runner. In 2024, he proudly represented Kerala state at the National Arm Wrestling Championship.
