Dr Dinu S Chandran

Our brilliant classmate and talented singer, Dr. Dinu S Chandran, is making us proud every single day!

After completing his MD in Physiology from AIIMS, he is now working as an Additional Professor at AIIMS, New Delhi. He also serves as the Executive Editor of the 2025 Indian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology—a role that speaks volumes about his leadership in the academic world.

As a passionate academic and researcher, his main focus is human arterial physiology—especially developing non-invasive ways to detect early signs of vascular ageing. His goal? To create screening tools that can identify early vascular ageing in young, seemingly healthy individuals, allowing for timely preventive steps and better long-term cardiovascular health.

He’s also deeply invested in studying how arterial wall mechanics and endothelial function are altered in different disease states.
