Dr. Rojith Balakrishnan is a distinguished clinician, researcher, and academician whose contributions span both national and international platforms. He currently serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, where he is actively engaged in medical education, patient care, and clinical research.

As a committed clinical researcher, Dr. Rojith has participated as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator in more than 25 global Phase 3 clinical trials in the fields of diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity, rheumatology, and COVID-19. His work has resulted in numerous publications in national and international journals, including contributions to the New England Journal of Medicine, and he has presented extensively at global and national scientific forums.
His academic excellence has been recognized with the Young Researcher Award by API Tamil Nadu (2009). He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Glasgow) and the American College of Physicians (ACP), further underscoring his international standing in the medical community.
Known for his soft-spoken demeanor and ever-present smile, Dr. Rojith has been pivotal in organizing multiple CMEs and academic events, contributing to the advancement of medical education in Kerala.
