Dr Yasser Chomayil

Dr. Yasser Chomayil is a distinguished professional in the field of Emergency Medicine, honored with the Society of Emergency Medicine India Excellence Award in 2015. A respected speaker at international conferences, he has also contributed extensively to reputed international journals, advancing knowledge and practice in his specialty.

He served as Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Aster MIMS, Kottakkal (2009–2017) and later as Deputy Director of MIMS Academy, where he played a pivotal role in shaping training and standards in emergency care. Beyond hospital leadership, he is the founder of SAVIOURS, a volunteer-driven social organization dedicated to providing timely support in trauma-prone areas of Malappuram district. He has also worked as Medical Director for Malappuram ANGELS, furthering community-based emergency response initiatives.
