His anthology of personal essays, Iruvazhinjippuzhayude Karayil, published by Current Books, was released in December 2021. In addition to his regular Facebook posts, which have a devoted following, he has written insightful articles on cancer awareness and the human connection in medicine for leading newspapers and health magazines.

In 2023, he served as the editor of MVR Cancer Arogyam magazine. Beyond his literary work, Dr. Santosh is also a gifted scriptwriter and director. His short film Kamarunnisa (കമറുന്നീസ (youtube.com) received critical acclaim and was honored with a special jury award in memory of the legendary Malayalam actor Nedumudi Venu.
